Whenever there's anything going on with the Dallas Cowboys, you know that Stephen A. Smith will have some sort of reaction. The latest Smith/Cowboys drama stems from a discussion on First Take with him, former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi, and former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe.

The conversation started innocently enough with the trio discussing if Mike McCarthy could end up saving his job in Dallas after the Cowboys' heroic win over the now 7-5 Commanders. When the topic came up if Bill Belichick could make sense in Big D is when everything went off the rails.

Bruschi and Sharpe didn't think Belichick would make sense in Dallas because of Jerry Jones' attention-seeking ways. Smith fired back that Belichick might like having Jones take over more of the media stuff that we know Belichick hates doing. That's when Sharpe absolutely lost his mind.

“Stephen A., do you like coming to your job every day and having a headache? See, you’re talking about what you think you know. One voice, one sound. When you’re trying to win championships, you have one voice, one sound resonating. And you and I both know, Bill Belichick is a bigger draw than Jerry Jones, that’s why he has coaches that he can overshadow.”

“Your argument goes right out the window when you mention championships and the Cowboys in the same breath,” Smith shot back.

"Now you know more football. Go ahead, okay," Sharpe said in disgust.

Cowboys coaching drama is too much for Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe

Who would have thought that a stupid conversation such as Bill Belichick being a potential fit for the Dallas Cowboys would cause two men to freak out like this? Anyone who has listened to either of these two go at it over the years aren't too surprised but it's still quite funny to see Sharpe throwing a fit because Smith doesn't get his point of view.

Heck, this isn't even close to the first time either of these guys has had a Cowboys meltdown. It feels like it's a weekly occurrence at this point.

While Belichick has the résumé that Jerry Jones would covet for his precious Cowboys, it's doubtful that, as Sharpe and Bruschi said, he'd want a head coach that could overshadow him. Speaking of Bruschi, his radio silence during the debate is the highlight for sure.

There's always drama in Cowboys land.
