Even though the Dallas Cowboys aren't in the Super Bowl, it didn't stop one Super Bowl champion from giving the ultimate praise to a Cowboys assistant.

Cooper Kupp, who'll be playing in Super Bowl 60 for the Seattle Seahawks as he looks for his second ring, spoke about his former wide receivers coach and current Cowboys assistant, Junior Adams. Under Adams, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens both made the Pro Bowl in 2025.

A former receiver at Eastern Washington, Kupp was coached by Adams in college. In Kupp's freshman year with Adams as his position coach, he set FCS freshman records with 1,691 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns.

During Super Bowl Opening Night, Kupp raved about Adams' influence on his career.

"Everything took off after I spent my first two years with Coach Adams...He was so next-level with what he was teaching us and how he was pushing us that it changed my life," Kupp said.

Adams had big shoes to fill in Dallas taking over for former wide receivers coach Robert Prince, who departed the staff after Mike McCarthy got let go. He proved he was up to the task.

While Pickens showed potential in his first few seasons, he morphed into an All-Pro under Adams. Sure, it helps to have Dak Prescott throwing you the football, but that shouldn't minimize Adams' impact in the WR room.

It's one thing to guide stars like Lamb and Pickens to the Pro Bowl, but second-year wide receiver Ryan Flournoy burst onto the scene this season with 40 catches for 475 yards and four touchdowns in Adams' first year on the job. He went from catching 10 passes for 102 yards as a rookie to taking the WR3 job from Jalen Tolbert. That isn't a coincidence.

It says everything that a former Triple Crown winner and Super Bowl champion in Kupp credits Adams for changing the trajectory of his career.

If Jerry Jones ever hears Kupp's words, he should think long and hard about signing Adams to an extension. The Cowboys clearly found a hidden gem in Adams, who spent the previous three seasons before he was hired as Oregon's co-offensive coordinator.

Brian Schottenheimer sure knows a thing or two about putting together a coaching staff, don't you think?
