It's been 30 years since the Dallas Cowboys last won a Super Bowl. That was Super Bowl 30 when they took down the Pittsburgh Steelers, 27-17. That was the last time the Cowboys appeared in the NFC Championship game, and they are the only NFC team not to appear in that game since 2010.
Three-time Super Bowl champion and Cowboys legend Darren Woodson was among the last to see a Super Bowl in Cowboys history.
On Radio Row on 105.3 The Fan, Woodson made a simple plea to Brian Schottenheimer that it's all on him to take the Cowboys to the promised land, and if they don't, it's just more wasted calories for the Cowboys.
"I like what Schotty's doing, but he has to win the games," Woodson said. "They have to get that job done. If not, you can say what you want to say. It's a failure. This team has gone over 30 years in failure. They have to win a Super Bowl."

With Dak Prescott set to turn 33 before next season, fans share Woodson's urgency. Even though Woodson didn't mention Prescott during the interview, all fans are aware that Prescott's on the back half of his career. His window to win a Super Bowl won't be open forever.
Most Cowboys fans are willing to give Schottenheimer's first season some grace, as former defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus was the scapegoat for an awful defensive season where the Cowboys gave up their most points in history, 511. It didn't matter if the high-powered offense scored 30 or more points. They still had a chance to lose.
Schottenheimer has all the pieces he needs to win the whole thing. He's got Prescott, who's playing the best football of his life. The Joneses have hit on the offensive line in recent drafts, and they proved that in 2025, finishing sixth in OL rankings, according to PFSN.
Assuming George Pickens comes back, Prescott will have arguably the best wide receiver duo in the NFL in Pickens and CeeDee Lamb.
Schottenheimer deserves grace, but he's only in a prime position now to end the 30-year Super Bowl drought. The New England Patriots got back to The Big Game in only six years following 20 years of Tom Brady's greatness. If the Patriots can do what they did, certainly these Cowboys can, too.
Cowboys fans feel everything Woodson is saying, especially because a franchise that's built itself on winning and ratings has fallen short for too long.
It's your time now, Schotty. Get it done.
