Tank Bigsby, Running Back, Auburn

Height: 6’0  Weight: 208lbs

Career Stats: 2,903 rushing yards, 5.4 yards per carry, 62 receptions, 448 receiving yards, 25 total touchdowns

The Cowboys came into this draft looking for playmakers on the offensive side of the football to help quarterback Dak Prescott. They tagged running back Tony Pollard and it’s looking more and more like former first-round pick Ezekiel Elliott is on his way out the door. In order to replace him the Cowboys elected to draft Tank Bigsby, a tough running and decent pass-catching running back that has experience running behind good and bad offensive lines.

Bigsby can come in and immediately back up Pollard and if the Cowboys and Pollard aren’t able to come to a new deal then Dallas would have themselves a running back that has shown he can be the bell cow for an offense. If he can develop as a pass catcher behind Pollard then the Cowboys will be getting a nice weapon for the future.
