3. Battle of the Pass Rushers

The Cowboys’ Micah Parsons and 49ers’ Nick Bosa are seen as two of the premier pass rushers in this league, and both will be looking to leave their mark on this game. Both will have the opposing team game planning to slow them down because they won’t be able to completely erase them from the game.

Where the two will differ in this game will be in the play of the quarterbacks and their familiarity with the pass rushers. Dak Prescott has faced Bosa and knows what to expect from him in terms of his speed to get around the edge, Brock Purdy, on the other hand, hasn’t faced a pass rusher with the speed that Parsons has and will need time to adjust.

That time will give Parsons more chances to affect Purdy in the pocket and give him the edge in this game over Bosa. The Cowboys’ variety of pass rushers to go with Parsons will give them the edge overall in sack production in this game thanks to Parsons leading the way.

Game Prediction: Parsons will get two sacks and one fumble recovery on the night, and Bosa will get one on the night.
