NFC Divisional Round

Dallas Cowboys (5) at Philadelphia (1)

The revenge tour continues.

Dallas lost four games this season with the Bucs giving them their first loss and the Philadelphia Eagles handing them their second. The Cowboys were without Dak Prescott in that opener as Cooper Rush threw three interceptions.

That wound up being the only defeat they suffered with Rush starting, and they were able to get some revenge when they knocked off the Eagles late in the season. Of course, in that game, Jalen Hurts was out so Dallas scored their victory while Gardner Minshew was starting.

Here in the Divisional Round, both teams are at full strength which should make for a competitive game. Philly hangs with Dallas for much of this one but Micah Parsons and the defense force a turnover late that leads to an easy score and puts their rivals away.

Prediction: Dallas 33, Philadelphia 24

San Francisco 49ers (3) at Minnesota Vikings (2)

Brock Purdy will be a legend after winning in the first round and now, the final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft makes it two in a row as he leads the 49ers to a win over the Vikings — on the road nonetheless.

Minnesota’s offense has been shut down before by opportunistic defenses, see their showdown with Dallas, so the San Francisco defense should be able to keep it low scoring. The offense does just enough to keep them ahead as they prepare to face Dallas in the NFC Championship game.

Prediction: San Francisco 21, Minnesota 17
