A loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15 did a lot of damage to the Dallas Cowboys’ hopes of winning the NFC East. Now at 10-4, they need a lot of help to catch the 13-1 Philadelphia Eagles.

While that’s not likely to happen, they still would love to hand their division rivals a loss on Saturday.

Despite having only one defeat on the season, there are reasons to believe the Eagles will be handed another L at the hands of the Cowboys. At least three of ’em.

3. This is Philly’s First Real Test

13-1 is an impressive record in the NFL no matter who you’ve faced, but if we’re being honest, the Eagles haven’t truly been tested. They beat Washington before Taylor Heinicke took over — and lost to them once he did. They also had a win over Detroit before they caught fire and the Packers, who haven’t been impressive at all, except for when they played the Cowboys.

The only teams they have beaten that seem like real contenders are Minnesota and Dallas. However, the Vikings were playing on Monday Night Football, and we all know how bad Kirk Cousins is when the sun goes down and the lights come on.

As for their win over Dallas, that happened to be the only loss Cooper Rush suffered as the starter this season, meaning the Eagles will be seeing Dallas at full strength for the first time this weekend. And even though they lost to the Jags, this offense has been playing well, which will only help the road team secure their 11th win on the year.
