This is admittedly a tough game to figure out, as the Cowboys have moved from one-point favorites to 5.5-point favorites following the Jalen Hurts news. I’m a believer in Gardner Minshew’s competence, and Dallas’ struggles against Houston worry me a bit.
As a result, I’m going with the over instead of picking a side. Both offenses are loaded with talent. Even if the Cowboys’ defense dominates Minshew and Philly, that should result in frequent short field position for Dak Prescott and Dallas to finish the job and put up points.
The over is 7-2 in the Eagles’ last nine games and 6-1 in Dallas’ last seven, including hitting in four straight. Dallas’ offensive strength is its running game, while Philly ranks 24th in the NFL in opponent yards per rush attempt (4.7).
