Cowboys vs Texans: Weather Outlook

Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas

Stadium Type: Retractable dome, artificial turf

Predicted Forecast: High of 67, low of 56, cloudy, wind gusts 10-11mph, 11% chance of precipitation

If the rain can hold off and nothing unexpected happens in this one, there seems to be something that feels like Jerry Jones could keep the roof and end zones open for this one. Primarily because, if it’s just 67 degrees, he could save on the electric bill. We know Jerry likes that.

But in all honesty, it is nearing the time where the Cowboys may not be able to open the stadium up much more if temperatures drop. This climate would be a welcome day to fans and players.

With this kickoff at 12pm CT, it will be warmer and early in the day. The track will play fast, and we will see weather having no impact on this game, in terms of either cramps or a sloppy ball. The Cowboys home crowd will be in full force with the early kickoff and it should be a loud environment.

I will be down in Arlington in attendance at this one tailgating and inside of AT&T Stadium at kickoff, for those of you Cowboys fans headed this weekend!
