5. The Offensive Line Has Been Great, and Tyron Smith May Make it Elite

It’s crazy to think about how well this offensive line has performed this season. At the time of this writing, the Cowboys have allowed the fewest sacks in the NFL with just 15 through 12 games, while also leading the league in sacks on opposing quarterbacks.

The run game has also been fantastic. Despite not having Tyron Smith to this point this season, the offensive line has done a great job of keeping their quarterbacks upright and opening holes for the running backs.

Tyler Smith has done a solid job of filling in for Tyron in his absence. The same could be said for Jason Peters, who has played limited snaps. Connor McGovern looks very improved in pass protection, while Tyler Biadasz has stepped up as well. Zack Martin still looks great, and Terence Steele is looking like a gamble that has paid off.

And this group still gets Tyron Smith back, possibly in a couple of weeks. Having him back at left tackle, with Tyler Smith and Jason Peters most likely rotating at left guard, makes this line somehow look even better. Buckle up, Cowboy fans. This offense might just be getting started.
