2. Emmitt Smith, 1996 vs. Washington

There are plenty of games you can point to where Emmitt Smith absolutely went off, as he’s often listed among the best, if not the best running backs of all-time. Thanksgiving of the 1996 season was no different. In this game, Smith not only ate his turkey, but he also ate up the defense for 155 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Cowboys to yet another Thanksgiving win over Washington.

Smith would go on to have another 1,000-yard season and continue to add to his illustrious career in the ensuing years.
