4. Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper, 2018 vs. Washington

Fresh off winning two games in a row, the Cowboys — with Dak Prescott at the helm and the newly-acquired Amari Cooper — looked to continue their hot streak with a push to the playoffs. After struggling out the gate in that season, the team was 3-5 at one point and traded for Cooper out of desperation to help a then-struggling Prescott find his footing, and that is exactly what the young QB did, especially on Thanksgiving day.

In this game, the Cowboys took down division rival Washington yet again in a game that had major playoff implications, to continue their hot streak. Prescott went 22-for-31 for 289 yards and three total touchdowns, including two to Amari Cooper.

One of those touchdowns accounted for 90 of his 180 yards in the game. This game further cemented an excellent connection in Dallas between the two that we would see for many years. The Cowboys went on to win the next four of five games to close the season, as well as Prescott’s first postseason win.
