Stud: Brett Maher, Kicker

Coming into the season, the Cowboys had plenty of question marks surrounding who would be their kicker. But, Brett Maher won the job in training camp and has been nothing short of fantastic this season. On Sunday, he nailed all four of his field goal attempts, including a 60-yarder right before halftime.

Maher continues to excel as the Dallas kicker and the strength of his leg is impressive. Not only did he make a 60-yard field goal but he also hit from 53 and 50 yards out. The 32-year-old accounted for 16 points in the game and was a big reason the Cowboys built up such an early lead.

Dud: Kavontae Turpin, Kick Returner

Remember when I was talking about nitpicking? Well here is the first taste of it. KaVontae Turpin has been very good as a kick and punt returner this year for the Cowboys. But, he did muff a punt on Sunday which is something we have not seen all season. Luckily, the Cowboys were able to fall on the ball and no further damage ensued.

Turpin looks poised to break one of these returns for a touchdown at some point. As long as he keeps getting chances, he should pay big dividends later on in the season. Hopefully, his muff in this game was just a one-time blunder and we will not see any more of those this year.
