Sunday, Nov 20. 4:25 PM ET. 123. CBS. 8-1. 60. Cowboys -1.5. 6-3

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a brutal and frustrating loss to the Green Bay Packers. The team is now 6-3 and continues their road trip against the NFC North as they head to Minnesota to take on the 8-1 Vikings.

Dallas is looking to turn things around and try and stay towards the top of the NFC, but they have to do so against a team riding a major win-streak.

These two teams come into this game in very different situations. The Cowboys blew a 14-point lead in a penalty-filled defeat that had people questioning whether they are actual contenders in the league or not. The Vikings, on the other hand, are riding the momentum after pulling off a miraculous victory against the Buffalo Bills.

Minnesota may be due for a major upset like the Eagles were this week, and it seems like the oddsmakers think so, too. Let’s take a look at the early odds and a predictionf or Week 11.

Cowboys vs Vikings Odds, Spread, Moneyline for Week 11

At the time of writing, the Week 11 betting odds on FanDuel have Dallas as 1.5-point favorites on the road in Minnesota on Sunday. Dallas is -124 on the moneyline, while the Vikings are underdogs at +106. The total for the game is set at 47.5 points.

Anyone else super surprised that the Cowboys are favored in this game? Just us? For the Cowboys to be favored on the road after an embarrassing loss to a far worse team than the Vikings seems suspicious. It’s likely that the oddsmakers are trying to get bettors to take the bait in this situation. America’s Team did technically open as 2-point favorites, but the odds have changed slightly since Sunday evening.

For what it’s worth, though, Dallas has won at U.S. Bank Stadium in each of the last two seasons. Last season, the Cowboys got the victory with a backup quarterabck despite being 4-point underdogs.

Cowboys vs Vikings Prediction and Preview for Week 11

Even though the odds are in the Cowboys favor, we are hesitant to side with Dallas here. The Cowboys have yet to figure out how to stop the run and they are about to face one of the best running backs in the league in Dalvin Cook.

However, the Cowboys still have a strong defense aside from the run game that should help give Kirk Cousins some trouble. Conversely, Dak Prescott should have a much easier time in the pass game this week. The Vikings rank 29th in opponent yards per pass attempt, which should help the offense get their feet back under them after struggling against the Packers.

In the spirit of hoping another NFC East team pulls off something wild this week, we are going to go with the oddsmakers and believe the Cowboys will get a victory over the 8-1 Vikings. Minnesota is due for a tough loss, and Dallas is the perfect team to deliver it to them.

We predict a 24-21 Cowboys victory.
