3. Bears won’t be able to stop the Cowboys’ offense

Week 7 wasn’t the best outing for the Dallas offense as they struggled to sustain drives through the majority of their game against Detroit. However, they started to figure things out with the two late scores and that should have them feeling better in Week 8.

Of course, it will help that the team they’re facing in that game isn’t exactly a force on defense. Chicago comes into the week 12th overall in yards surrendered but they’re 29th in run defense — which plays into the hands of the Cowboys even if Ezekiel Elliott can’t suit up.

Actually, having a hurting Zeke take the day off could be a good thing since it would force Dallas to give the ball to Tony Pollard more often, and he continues to outgain Elliott despite having fewer carries.

As if that wasn’t enough, Dak Prescott is likely to have plenty of time to pass the ball since there aren’t many great pass rushers on the Bears’ defense, especially now that Robert Quinn has been traded away. Unfortunately for Dallas, Quinn — who spent one season playing for America’s Team — will face them with the Eagles later this year as noted by Mike McCarthy.

Having said all of that, the Cowboys will be able to sustain drives thanks in large part to their ground game which is one of the main reasons this should be win No. 6 on the year.
