After seven weeks, the Dallas Cowboys find themselves ranked as the No. 4 team in the NFC. This continues to be a shock for most after what we watched in the abysmal Week 1 loss to Tampa Bay. Cooper Rush did his job well and the defense has been the glue to hold this team together.

Now, they arrive upon another NFC challenge they do not want to lose.

Before their surprisingly dominant Monday Night Football performance, the Bears had lost three in a row and couldn’t seem to find a way to score consistently. Unlike the Lions, Chicago has the opposite strengths. Their defense, in all parts, can get the job done, but their offense (thanks to a struggling O-line) hasn’t been able to find a rhythm.

While they were successful against New England, we all know that this Cowboys’ defense is stronger than most. We, yet again, expect the Dallas defensive squad to carry the team in this one in what should be another low-scoring matchup.

Oddsmakers all around are highly favoring America’s Team in this one. Until Sunday, let’s take a look at the best bets, odds, spread, moneyline, injury report, schedule, and more for this Week 8 game.

Best Dallas Cowboys bets for Week 8 vs. the Bears

**All numbers are from BetMGM as of Sunday morning. Please check BetMGM as numbers can change until game time**

1. Game total, Under 42.5 (-110)

These two teams go by their defense. Both squads are struggling offensively to put points on the board and their defenses are helping keep teams to a minimum. The Cowboys have only allowed more than 19 points to an opponent against the Eagles. They also kept one of the most prolific offenses in football (Lions) to just six points last week.

The under has hit in five of the Cowboys’ seven contests and we don’t expect much different this time around. The under has felt like one of the safest bets for this team week in and week out.

2. Justin Fields, Interceptions, Over 0.5 (-150)

We feel like a broken record, but the Cowboys’ defense is really good. Trevon Diggs just became the fastest player to get 17 interceptions (35 games) in the last 40 years of NFL history. Expect him to be on his typical ball-hawking behavior against Justin Fields, who already has six picks this year (at least one thrown in five of his seven games so far).

If Diggs can’t get it done, DaRon Bland, Donovan Wilson, and Malik Hooker will also be there to help with turnovers. After a five turnover game in Week 7, we don’t expect the Cowboys to slow down.

3. Bears First Half Spread (+5.5, -110)

This might not end a close game, but as the Detroit Lions showed last week, the Cowboys offense can be mucked up as Dak Prescott looks for his sea legs. The Bears’ defense is far more fearsome than Detroit’s unit, and Chicago’s also coming in with significant momentum after knocking around the Patriots on Monday Night Football. Expect Matt Eberflus and the Bears to keep it close before halftime adjustments change the game yet again.
