The Dallas Cowboys are back in action at home in Week 7 after a tough loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football in Week 6. This time they face a much different opponent in the Detroit Lions — a 1-4 team coming off a bye week that is likely still sour from a shutout loss to the New England Patriots in Week 5.

Both teams are supposed to get two key players back in the lineup. For the Cowboys, it’s starting quarterback Dak Prescott. The 29-year-old was medically cleared on Wednesday for practice and said he feels ready to go on Sunday after Thursday’s practice. This should be a huge boost for Dallas, especially given that No. 4 will get to ease back into things against a team that has the worst defense in the league in several statistical categories.

For the Lions, they are hoping to get their star running back, D’Andre Swift, back from a shoulder injury. The bye week likely helped him rest and he will be tough to stop for the ‘Boys.

Both teams are looking for redemption, but Dallas is clearly the stronger team, on paper at least. The oddsmakers clearly think so, too. This is by far the most Dallas has been favored by all year, coming into this matchup as 7.0-point favorites.

You can never count an opponent out, but this one should highly favor the Cowboys. Until Sunday, here are some prop bets to consider for this Week 7 NFC contest.

Dallas Cowboys 3 Best Early Prop Bets for Week 7 vs. the Lions

**All numbers are from BetMGM**

1. Dak Prescott Over 8.5 Rushing Yards (-120)

Welcome Dak back by pumping cash into his rushing special. 8.5 yards?! That’s a single broken play! Include this helpful total in a same game parlay or just cash out on its own.

2. Ezekiel Elliott Over 64.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

The Detroit Lions’ remarkably porous run defense strikes again! The Lions have allowed an average of 167.6 opponent rush yards per game, and an even higher 178 per game over their past three contests. Expect Elliott to grind them down before Tony Pollard hits a home run ball or two (might be worth betting both overs).

3. Cowboys Moneyline + Over 45.5 (+110)

You have to go to 45.5 to get plus odds on the Cowboys winning and the over, but with the Lions’ surprising offense and the possibility of garbage time points, plus Detroit’s hideous defense, this could easily hit.
