3. Cooper Rush Airs It Out

We know that this Eagles defensive front is very talented and effective in getting after the quarterback inside and out. To counter this, the Cowboys are going to need to rely on Cooper Rush and his willingness to let it rip down the field. He’s been most effective through the air during play-action situations and now with his full complement of receivers and tight ends, he should be able to take advantage of it.

The Eagles have two talented cornerbacks that can be tough to beat, but they can be beaten. Teams attacking these two cornerbacks have had success on routes attacking the middle of the field, so expect the Cowboys to continue attacking that area of the field through the air. You can also expect to see more screens to get their running backs open in space and matched up on linebackers who won’t have the speed to keep up with Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard.

The Cowboys need to get Rush going quickly in a game like this in an effort to not let the moment become too big for him.

Game Prediction: Cooper Rush surpasses 220 yards with three touchdowns.
