3. Kupp visits Diggs Island

The Cowboys know how the Rams are going to be looking to move the football through the air with the focal point of this passing offense revolving around Cooper Kupp.

To try and negate that Dan Quinn will ask Trevon Diggs to shadow Kupp in this game, putting his best cornerback on their best receiver and forcing the rest of their receivers to beat them. On Monday night, Kupp was targeted 19 times, making 14 catches for 122 yards. That’s something Diggs can’t allow to happen in this week’s game.

If Diggs is able to slow down Kupp, because we know he can’t completely shut him down, then the Cowboys can then put more focus on shoring up their running game.

The one thing that Diggs needs to be on the lookout for must be the double move. Kupp and Stafford are going to come into this game knowing how aggressive Diggs can be when trying to jump routes. He needs to be disciplined in his coverage and unless it’s an easy interception, make sure you can get a hand on the football or make the tackle.

Game Prediction: Diggs holds Kupp to 5 catches for 55 yards and no touchdowns.
