Week 5 is here and the Cowboys head to Los Angeles to take on the reigning Super Bowl champions, who don’t look so hot as of late. America’s Team is riding a miraculous three-game win streak under the leadership of Cooper Rush, while the Los Angeles Rams will be on short rest after a 24-9 loss to their NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers.

Considering the Cowboys’ last two opponents were the New York Giants and the Washington Commanders, the Rams will be a much tougher team to face. However, what we once thought was going to be one of the hardest games on their schedule may be a little bit easier now, thanks to some unfortunate injuries on both sides of the ball for Los Angeles.

Dallas has a real chance to show that they are worthy of being the fifth-ranked team in the NFC this weekend. Dak Prescott will not be playing, giving Rush a chance to further his historic run at SoFi Stadium, which should have a lot of Cowboys fans in the stands.

The LA defense is quite dominant, which could be a problem for Rush and the run game. However, with a smart game plan and their strong defensive squad, the Cowboys have more of a chance than initially expected.
