1. Jahan Dotson, WR

Jahan Dotson has been everything and more as a rookie for the Washington Commanders and helps create a serious WR trio alongside Samuel and McLaurin. This 2022 rookie class was full of top receiving talent, but Dotson has been one of the main stars.

The 16th overall pick already has nine receptions for 109 yards, 12.1 yards per reception, and leads the team with three touchdowns. This week, he will get to face his former Penn State teammate in Cowboys LB Micah Parsons who has been warning the league about Dotson’s talent for quite some time.

The 22-year-old started his career with a two-touchdown game and was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Week. The WR has been lauded for his speed and agility and has earned praise from his coaching staff about how quickly he’d been able to adapt to NFL play.

The first great rookie receiver for Washington in a while, Dotson has a chance to make Commanders history this weekend. If he scores two touchdowns, he will be the first Washington rookie to ever do so against Dallas in franchise history. Dotson needs seven catches, one touchdown, and 109 yards to have the best rookie performance against the Cowboys ever by a Commander.

He’s going up against a ball-hawking and quick secondary in Dallas, but he’s proven he has the talent even at his young age.

Our money is still on Dallas but prepare for these three players to step up for this Washington club.
