5 reasons the Cowboys will beat the Giants in Week 3
By Randy Gurzi
Hope was restored for America’s Team in Week 2 when the Dallas Cowboys found a way to win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Even with Dak Prescott out due to an injury sustained in Week 1, Cooper Rush was able to lead them on a game-winning drive — capped off by a 50-yard field goal from Brett Maher.
Now, they had an extra day to prepare for their next challenge as they play on the road against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. New York might have a 2-0 record but the Cowboys should be able to pull off this win, and here are five reasons to believe that.

5. Giants have yet to be tested
Yes, the Giants are currently undefeated but they have yet to play anyone who has proven to be a contending NFL team. Their wins came against teams that were 0-4 combined in the first two weeks of the season. And they didn’t win impressively in either case.
New York knocked off the Tennessee Titans 21-20 in the opener. They showed guts by going for two at the end of the game, which was successful and they walked away with the win. The following week, they secured a 19-16 victory over Carolina, sending them to 0-2.
Dallas, on the other hand, played a team that won the Super Bowl two seasons ago and is led by Tom Brady. They then slowed down the Bengals, who were the AFC representatives last season. Sure, Cincy started out slowly, but they were still heavily favored and Dallas pulled off the upset even without Dak Prescott.
New York doesn’t have the weapons either of those teams does, which is just one reason the Cowboys should be able to secure a win.
