1. Cowboys pass the century mark rushing

This Cowboys running game has yet to have a 100-yard rusher this season.

To be fair, they’ve faced two tough run defenses and are once again going up against another one this week. But after the performance of Cooper Rush last week, the Giants are going to have to be more cautious in the play calling so as to not allow Rush to pick apart a secondary without the second-best cornerback.

That doesn’t mean they are going to just drop everyone back into coverage, but with the talent they have on the defensive line (especially up the middle), they are going to make it tough for this Cowboys’ running game.

Now if they are without Leonard Williams this week, things will be much easier for Elliott and Pollard to pick up chunks of yards on the ground. I have a feeling that Williams will be held out of this game and that one of the Giants’ pass rushers come back this week.

This will bode well for the Cowboys as they are finally able to get the running game going much like it did at the beginning of last season with Elliott wearing down the Giants’ defense and Pollard getting a touchdown.

Game Prediction: Elliott gets 104 yards and a touchdown, and Pollard will get 100 all-purpose yards and a touchdown as well.
