Week 1 of NFL football was pretty disastrous for the Dallas Cowboys. The ‘Boys were the only team in the NFL unable to score a touchdown and lost in brutal fashion to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 19-3. The score and poor play doesn’t even take into account the fact that several key players on the roster are set to miss serious time due to injuries, including Jayron Kearse, Connor McGovern, and of course, QB1 Dak Prescott.

Many feel the Cowboys’ season is over, but the reality is that there are still 16 games to play. Next up, Dallas takes on the reigning AFC Champs at home on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium. The outlook is pretty bleak, but there is some hope in that the Bengals did not look very good in Week 1.

As of Thursday afternoon, Dallas is now 7.5-point underdogs, +270 on the moneyline, and the total for the game is 41.5, per FanDuel.

Let’s hope more front office offseason mistakes don’t rear their ugly heads in this matchup and that Cooper Rush can be a hero for the ‘Boys. Until Sunday, let’s look at three of the early prop bets you may want to take a look at for this week.

Dallas Cowboys 3 Best Early Prop Bets for Week 2 vs. the Bengals

**All numbers are from FanDuel as of Friday, Sept. 16**

1. Anytime Touchdown Scorer — CeeDee Lamb (+210)

CeeDee Lamb was already expected to take on No. 1 WR duties, even without a backup QB piloting the ship. With Rush under center, Lamb stepping up will become all the more important, and the wideout is very much a candidate to be force fed throughout the game. Want to take a bigger gamble? Lamb’s also +1100 for first touchdown scored.

2. Ezekiel Elliott to Score 2+ Touchdowns (+1200)

Knowing full well that it sounds optimistic to predict two touchdowns from one man when the Dak Prescott-led Cowboys didn’t get into the end zone once last week, Elliott looked fresh and renewed in his 10 attempts last week, averaging 5.2 yards a carry. At this absurd value, it could be worth a few bucks on the offense’s only proven star to reach the end zone twice.

3. Both Teams to Complete Their First Pass Attempt – Yes (-102)

Come on. All you can do is laugh, right? “No” is -120, but if you don’t think the Cowboys are drawing up the easiest possible confidence booster for Rush, you’re mistaken. Might as well take the better odds here, too.
