The rematch we have all been waiting for is finally here. Tomorrow on Sunday Night Football, the Dallas Cowboys host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at AT&T Stadium hoping to avenge their 31-29 loss in Week 1 last season. The ‘Boys look to hand Tom Brady his first loss against the Cowboys in his career and hope to start off their season by proving they don’t deserve to be overlooked.

In this article, we will look at the best bets for the matchup, final odds, the injury report, how to watch, where to stream, and the rest of the Cowboys’ 2022 schedule.

Let’s get right to it!

Best Dallas Cowboys bets for Week 1 vs. Buccaneers

**All numbers are from FanDuel as of 4 pm CT on Saturday. Please check FanDuel as numbers can change until game time**

1. Game Total – Under 50.5 (-110)

Last year’s contest was a very high-scoring game. This time around, the Bucs will not have Rob Gronkowski or Antonio Brown and will more than likely be without Chris Godwin (and even if he is cleared to play, he will be very limited). For Tampa Bay, those three players accounted four touchdowns and over 300 receiving yards in last year’s victory. That’s a huge loss scoring-wise.

Expect the new-look Cowboys defense to gang up on Mike Evans and Leonard Fournette and keep the scoring to a minimum.

As for Dallas, they will also be without two of the top performers from this matchup last year: Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. Cooper had 139 yards and two touchdowns in that game.

The over/under for this game is one of the highest in Week 1. However, several key players will be missing. Scoring might not be as prolific on either side this time around.

2. Dalton Schultz – Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+185)

Dak Prescott is his best against the Tampa Bay Bucs. His 79% completion percentage against the Bucs is the highest of any QB against a single opponent.

Prescott’s passing prowess against the Bucs and the fact that he loves Schultz as a target should make this an easy bet to take. Schultz and Cooper were tied for the lead in touchdown receptions with eight last season. Plus, passing will likely be relied upon since the Bucs’ defensive line is very strong. Lamb (-115 ATTS) is the more obvious pick to get into the end zone on Sunday night, but Schultz comes at a much better price.

3. Dallas Cowboys to cover the spread at +2.5 (-110)

It’s risky, but taking the Cowboys to cover the spread makes sense in this matchup. With both teams missing key players on the offensive side of the ball, we expect this game to be closer than some might think. Dallas only lost by two last year with both teams playing their best on the field. I would love to take the Cowboys winning the game outright at +112 odds, but it’s really hard to think that Brady won’t lead a late-game scoring drive as time expires just like he did last year.
