Dallas Cowboys’ 2022 practice squad tracker

The Dallas Cowboys revealed their first official 53-man roster on Tuesday, August 30. Of course, many of the decisions to players waive or cut were done so strategically in hopes that they make it through waivers and end up back with the Cowboys’ practice squad.

There were some more surprising cuts, like the decision to get rid of all three backup quarterbacks in hopes that at least Cooper Rush will end up back with the team before the start of the regular season. Some players, like Mike Tafua and Josiah Bronson, were less shocking.

Keep in mind that Isaac Alarcon will not count towards the practice squad total as he is part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program.

The Cowboys get to have sixteen members as part of their practice squad. As players get claimed or make it through waivers, we will keep this page up-to-date to let you know who makes the squad.
