1. Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams

The reigning Super Bowl MVP had a season for the ages in 2021. Kupp won the triple crown leading the NFL in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns. 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdowns are simply nothing we ever see in the NFL. Along with Super Bowl MVP, he brought home the Offensive Player of the Year award.

Matthew Stafford and Kupp connected right away in the quarterback’s first season with the Rams. They seem to have created one of the best QB-WR duos in the NFL. What also makes them special is their play caller. Head coach Sean McVay is one of the best play callers in the NFL and he helps scheme Kupp open which was a big reason for his historic 2021 campaign.

Along with the triple crown stats, Kupp was number one in yards per route run and yards after catch last season. Kupp has plenty of success from all spots on the field making him very difficult to guard. The former third-round pick has faced the Cowboys three times in his career, with his stats including 15 receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns. But, each of those games was with Jared Goff as his QB. Week 5 will be the first time Dallas sees the Stafford-Kupp duo.

Kupp had a historic season in 2021 and the Cowboys get a chance to see how they stack up against the defending champs and one of the best receivers in the league in 2022.
