A top breakout candidate for 2022, TP has become a fan favorite, and even a league favorite very quickly. Since his rookie season, the Memphis alum has had his workload increase each year and this year he’s expected to take on his biggest role yet. According to Clarence Hill Jr of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Pollard has even been taking reps out of the slot in training camp.

I think the hype comes to fruition right away with three touchdowns in the first quarter of the season. Even if he is stopped on the ground, I expect him to be effective through the air. My projections show Pollard having a 2019 Christian McCaffrey-esque season with significant numbers on both the ground and in the passing game.

The former fourth-round selection has paid dividends already for the Cowboys, producing well in his short career thus far. I think he will take another step in a crucial season for him. Being as versatile of a threat as he is, he should see even more snaps this season. Now, depending on how the other RB does in front of him, he could be seeing a fairly hefty pay raise coming from the Joneses after a season like this.
