4 former Cowboys who deserve to be added to the Ring of Honor
1. Deion Sanders, CB, 1995-1999 (An Honorable Mention)
Look. Deion Sanders is one of the best football players of all time. It’s probable that the only reason he hasn’t been or may not ever be added to this Ring of Honor is that he was only on the Cowboys for five seasons of his 14-year career. Prime Time himself has even said he doesn’t deserve to be in the Ring.
"“I don’t deserve to be in the Hall of Fame in Dallas. I didn’t contribute enough. All of those people that are there, they are known for being a Dallas Cowboy. I am known for being an Atlanta Falcon.”"
But you can still make the argument that the Hall of Famer had an excellent five years in Dallas. The Super Bowl champ was a Pro Bowler for four of his five years and an All-Pro three of his five seasons.
In 61 games in Dallas, the defensive back had 14 interceptions, two touchdowns, five fumble recoveries, and 159 tackles. Do you think he deserves to be in the Ring of Honor for his contributions to the Cowboys?
