2. Eagles @ Cowboys, Week 16 (Christmas Eve)

A rivalry game is only a Christmas Gift if your team comes out with a victory. As much as it pains us to say, the reality of the Cowboys sweeping the Eagles again this year is not that high. Howie Roseman and his crew put pen to paper this offseason and added some big-time additions to their team.

Some may say that the Eagles won’t fly because Jalen Hurts is still their quarterback, but by Week 16, it’s likely that Hurts will have found some kind of rhythm with new star receiver A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Plus, if the Cowboys get the victory in Week 6, Philly will be heading to Dallas looking for some serious revenge.

The last time the Cowboys played the Eagles, it was a smooth sailing 51-26 victory for the ‘Boys. That was in Week 18, and very few starters played. This time around, with playoff implications and an NFC East crown on the line, don’t expect to see the backups hit this game until the very end.

And, America’s Team can’t expect to stomp right through Philly this time. They’ve added two incredibly talented rookies from Georgia in Nakobe Dean and Jordan Davis. Plus, they signed linebacker Haason Reddick and cornerback James Bradberry to play on the corners with Darius Slay.

This will likely be an incredibly competitive and hard-fought battle, which to be fair, is exactly what a rivalry game should be. Thankfully for the Cowboys, they do have the advantage of playing this matchup at AT&T Stadium. A win against their rivals before heading into the tough matchup we just talked about on the road for Week 17 will be crucial.
