The 4 toughest games for Cowboys QB Dak Prescott in 2022

2021 Record: 9-8

Key Losses: Steven Nelson (CB), Hassan Ridgeway (DT), Rodney McLeod (S), Genard Avery (LB)
Reason for Concern for Prescott: If you want to talk about a team that’s going all-in this offseason, then look no further than the Cowboys’ division rival Philadelphia Eagles. Outside of the Rams, Philly seemed to be making the biggest moves by signing quite a few big-name free agents and trading for a play-making receiver in A.J. Brown.
The more impressive thing about what the Eagles were able to do though was they were able to add impact defensive players to boost a vulnerable defense last season. The biggest addition would come through the draft in former Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis who will now team up with veteran Fletcher Cox to create possibly one of the most destructive defensive tackle tandems in the league.
This team was also able to add pass rusher Haason Reddick to give them some much-needed juice coming off the edge. Prescott, while currently holding a winning record over the Eagles, has always had issues when facing this NFC East rival thanks to that defensive line. Given that line just got even tougher is quite concerning. The Cowboys’ QB is going to need time in the pocket to pick apart this secondary and will need his running game to step up in a major way. If the run game can’t get going, this could be a long and frustrating game for Prescott.
