Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Matchups:

  • Week 6, Sunday, October 16 (Sunday Night Football), 8:20 pm EST in Philadelphia
  • Week 16, Saturday, December 24 (Christmas Eve), 4:25 pm EST, in Arlington

Realistic Prediction: Cowboys and Eagles split 1-1

Here we go again with two primetime games from NFC East divisional matchups. This time we get Sunday Night Football paired with an early Christmas gift of a Christmas Eve matchup that will be a standalone game at 4:25 pm EST.

Last year saw two drubbing of the Eagles handed down by the Cowboys. Neither game was ever close and both ended in total blowouts. I don’t expect to see that occur in 2022. These teams are different and the Eagles have a little bit of mojo inside their walls.

After the draft-day trade for receiver AJ Brown, there is a belief that Brown was the missing puzzle piece for Jalen Hurts. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Eagles start the season red hot with this newfound confidence. The Cowboys have a more veteran team, and with a huge game in Week 16 that could determine not only playoff seeding but also who makes the postseason, they will rebound in the second meeting.

Cowboys split 1-1 with the Eagles in stories of teams hot at different times.
