4. Dontario Drummond, WR, Ole Miss

The wide receiver room is struggling after the losses of Amari Cooper, Cedrick Wilson, and Malik Turner. That doesn’t even factor in the fact that Michael Gallup may be out for multiple games at the start of the season. The problem for Drummond? He’s got a lot of competition. Jalen Tolbert was the Cowboys’ third-round pick and three other UDFA receivers were added to the list as well.

While Ty Frofogle is a good receiver, Drummond improved more in his collegiate years. He also presents more of a vertical threat. The Rebel and quarterback Matt Corral made quite the duo in 2021. Drummond colelcted 76 catches for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns.

The receiver is very difficult to bring down, and therefore, excels with yards after the catch. With several holes to fill in the wide receiver room, expect Drummond to compete with names like Simi Fehoko and Noah Brown for a WR4 spot with the Cowboys.
