2. Alec Lindstrom, Center, Boston College

Alec Lindstrom has a chance to make this roster for many reasons. The first is sheer need. With Connor Williams gone, Tyler Biadasz and Braylon Jones are the current roster options at center. While Biadasz certainly improved in 2021, it seems the Cowboys don’t have a ton of confidence in the soon-to-be third-year center. He also had nine penalties last year.

This gives Lindstrom a great chance to earn a spot on this roster. Another reason the Boston College product has a chance to make the team is because of his talent. Some analysts predicted Lindstrom would go in the third or fourth round of the draft. Yet, he remained available after all three days. The Eagle was a three-year starter at Boston College and played center in all of his starts.

Football also runs in Lindstrom’s blood. His brother Chris was a first-round pick by the Falcons in 2019. Perhaps the reason his football IQ is so high is that it is something that’s always been in the family. His brother also played at BC. In Alec’s time with the Eagles, he received two all-ACC 1st team honors and was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy in his senior year. Prepare for Lindstrom to give Biadasz a run for his money in Oxnard.
