1. The Eagles Shockingly Land A.J. Brown

If you told us the Phiadelphia Eagles would end the night with A.J. Brown and Jordan Davis yesterday, we would have told you that you were insane. Yet, here we are. In perhaps the most shocking move of the evening, the Eagles acquired star wide receiver A.J. Brown from the Tennessee Titans in exchange for the 18th and 101st overall picks, their second trade of the round.

You may remember that Brown has been holding out from offseason programming in search of a more lucrative contract. Well, he certainly got one. According to ESPN, Brown got a four-year, $100 million contract with $57 million guaranteed from Philly. The 24-year-old was originally set to make $4 million in the final year of his contract with Tennesseee.

The Pro Bowler surpassed 1,000 yards in his first two seasons with Tennessee and had five touchdowns last year. The Titans, who for the last week have been saying they have no interest in getting rid of Brown, ended up using the 18th pick to secure Arkansas WR Treylon Burks (yet another Cowboys prospect favorite). Dallas’s only hope is that Jalen Hurts continues to struggle and can’t find Brown as well as Ryan Tannehill did.

All in all, it was a brutal night one for Cowboys fans. We went from Micah Parsons to Tyler Smith and watched our enemies improve and make strides. Not ideal. Let’s hope Round 2 and 3 are better for Dallas.
