3. The Team Doesn’t Address Wide Receiver Until Day Three

This I can definitely see fans getting upset with. With the offense set to have Lamb, James Washington, and Noah Brown as the top three receivers in Week 1, the WR corps clearly needs help.

The reason I can see this happening is due to the amount of depth this receiver class has. There are as many as eight or nine receivers that can go in the first round alone, and others who may have been projected to go in the second could fall to Round 4.

While there are many great options in the first, the team may look to address the offensive and defensive lines along with linebackers and tight ends before receiver. There are also more options in free agency at receiver including Odell Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry that the team could keep an eye on.

Receivers that the front office could look to target in the later rounds could include some solid options in Boise State’s Khalil Shakir, Alabama’s John Metchie III, Clemson’s Justyn Ross, and Texas Tech’s Erik Ezukanma. While I fully expect the team to take a receiver by the end of day two, I could also see them holding off due to the amount of potential day one contributors in the later rounds.
