A prospect the Cowboys have on their visit list that could be a late-round flyer is safety Markquese Bell. The Cowboys seem to love taking safeties in the late rounds and Bell could be a developmental piece for the secondary.

He is a lot of what defensive coordinator Dan Quinn likes in his secondary: Tall, long, and a ball hawk. He has the potential to push Donovan Wilson for that starting spot by next season.

Currently, Bell is expected to go anywhere from round seven to undrafted. If the Cowboys want to make sure he doesn’t hit the open market, they could take him here in round six.

Joshua Ezeudu is the last realistic tackle option that the Cowboys invited on their draft list. With Tyron Smith getting up there in age and struggling to stay on the field, along with the departure of La’el Collins, Ezeudu could be a guy who could sit behind Smith and develop.

The need for a tackle isn’t very immediate, but it would be smart to take a peek into the future and get a guy you want as a successor for Smith. The Tar Heel could be that guy.

Currently, Ezeudu is expected to go in the late rounds or undrafted. Again, if the team loves him enough, they could use their sixth-round pick to make sure he ends up wearing the star.
