Cam Jurgens is a viable mid-round option to compete with Tyler Biadasz. The team, again, seems to be interested in bringing in more offensive line help, and adding Jurgens can help push Biadasz.

Center was arguably the weakest link on the line last season, so adding help in these rounds makes sense. As of now, Jurgens looks like he will go anywhere on day three. Getting to these prospects is where it gets more difficult to evaluate where they may land, so these projections are pure guesswork.

Another potential tight end for the Cowboys is in-state product Jalen Wydermyer. Dallas has been connected to Wydermyer quite a bit this offseason, and with uncertainty at the tight end position for the future, Jalen could be a good flyer pick.

The former Aggie was originally expected to land in round two or three. However, after a poor showing at the Combine and Pro Day, Wydermyer is slipping to near undrafted consideration. If the Joneses want to make sure they don’t need to risk losing Jalen in undrafted free agency, he could be a pick here in the fifth.
