The Dallas Cowboys are set to make their first pick in the 2022 NFL Draft in about two weeks. There has been a lot of talk about where the Cowboys will and should go with their pick. Many fans are on the side of picking the best player available, while others are all in on filling needs among the offensive line, wide receiver, and linebacker positions.

America’s Team has released the list of all 30 players set to visit before the draft and has a history of selecting their first player out of that list. For example, Zack Martin, Ezekiel Elliott, Byron Jones, Taco Charlton, Leighton Vander Esch, and Trysten Hill were all top 30 visits.

With that being the expectation, I have created a big board consisting mostly of players on these visits. This will help give us a realistic idea of what the team’s draft board could look like for each round. The board will consist of 12 players, two for each round the team has picks in (the Cowboys do not have a seventh-round pick as of publishing). We have done several different types of mock drafts here at the Landry Hat, but this big board is to help Cowboys fans gauge who the Cowboys are taking a look at in each round rather than making solidified picks.

As I said, this list is realistic so the team’s interests, needs, and draft projection were all taken into account for this big board. Each variable will be scored out of 10, and the way this big board falls into place will be based on each player’s total score. Let’s get started!
