3. Nick Martin, Guard/Center

Career Stats: 62 career starts, 13 career penalties

We know how much Dallas loves to find offensive linemen that have the ability to play multiple positions along the line. One player who still remains on the market also happens to be related to the Cowboys’ best offensive lineman on the team – Zack Martin. Nick Martin has experience playing at guard as well as center, which he played during his time with the Houston Texans.

He was traded to the Raiders last season to come in as a backup center which was a waste of talent. Now that he was released to save cap space, Martin could look to reunite with his older brother and play for America’s Team and bring more of that Martin aggression to a deteriorating offensive line.

Why the Cowboys? Nick Martin would be able to come in if the Cowboys aren’t able to find a quality guard or center in the draft and immediately compete for a starting job. He would come in relatively cheap and with the added bonus of playing with his older brother, it should make it a bit easier for the team to work on a deal.
