Dallas Cowboys offense only 7-round 2022 NFL mock draft
Round 4, Pick 129: C Dohnovan West
The remaining position on the offensive line yet to be addressed is the center position, and with Dohnovan West on the board, there was no hesitation with this one. The Arizona State product stands at 6-4, 300 pounds and enjoyed a good junior season before declaring for the draft.
Current Cowboys center Tyler Biadasz was vaulted into the starting spot last season and had a respectable run. He got better as the season progressed and it looks as if he will remain the starter for next season as well. However, adding someone for competition should be in consideration in case Biadasz doesn’t work out.
West plays with good balance, mobility, and strength at the point of attack. He fared well in both the pass and run games and allowed just one sack and four hurries this season. He also provides positional versatility where he could fill in at either guard position if needed.
This is a pick that should be considered in the middle rounds. Adding the former Sun Devil would provide good competition at the center position and hopefully push Biadasz or West to become better players.
Other notable prospects available: RB Kyren Williams, RB Dameon Pierce, T Max Mitchell
