5. Ezra Gray, RB, Alabama State
Height: 5’7″ Weight: 174lbs
Career Stats: 1,875 rushing yards, 9 rushing touchdowns, 256 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns
Dallas needs another running back given that the future of Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard’s status with the team after this season are both uncertain. Gray is one of the smaller collegiate running backs, but that doesn’t stop him from being a dangerous weapon on offense. He’s able to run inside and outside and it’s hard to get a clean hit on him thanks to his size. Gray can catch out of the backfield making him an immediate threat in the passing game.

If the Cowboys want to get a head start on finding a pet cat running back that could be used in multiple ways then Gray is a good option for later in the draft. With his ability, it’s hard to see this running back going undrafted.
