With the 176th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select …

Cade York, Kicker – LSU

Height: 6’1″    Weight: 198lbs

Career Stats: 164 of 168 on extra points attempts (98%),  54 of 66 on field-goal attempts (81%)

Dallas still hasn’t made a move to sign a kicker after cutting Greg Zuerlein this offseason. This has led some to believe that they may take a kicker in the draft. The fourth and fifth-round feel like the rounds we could start to see kickers and possibly a punter go this season. York is a kicker with a strong leg and big game experience under his belt.

I get the feeling that the Cowboys are going to take a kicker in this draft given the depth at the position is so deep this year.

Bubba Bolden, Safety- Miami (FL)

Height: 6’3″ Weight: 204lbs

Career Stats: 135 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 6 passes defended, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles

Dallas has brought back Malik Hooker on a new two-year deal but that doesn’t mean they are done looking for a center fielder on the back end of the defense. Bolden has the speed and range to fill that hole for this team. He’s big enough to handle the position and physical enough to come up and stop the run when needed. He’s a smart player that doesn’t get beat deep often and could be a player that is developed to take over if Hooker doesn’t work out.

This team is low on safety depth and Bolden would be a nice piece to add for the future who can help immediately on special teams.

Previous Pick: Otito Ogbonnia
