1. Jordan Davis, Defensive Tackle, Georgia

Standing at 6-6 and weighing 341 pounds, Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis should not be able to move the way he did at the combine. The DT blew up on social media for his impressive size and ability. Davis clocked in with a 4.78-second 40-yard dash time and 10’3″ broad jump, both of which are combine records by a player over 310 pounds since 2006. What he did in Indianapolis surely caught the eyes of several organizations.

For a player that was seen as a run-stuffer with not much pass-rush ability, he showed the explosiveness that is needed from an interior defender to get to the quarterback. This past season, Davis had 32 total tackles and two sacks. While his production does not jump off the charts, his impact is immense.

Look at how Davis compares to some of the NFL’s best combine results.

Davis’s combine performance was arguably the most impressive for any defensive player ever. Davis helped himself more than anyone that was in Indianapolis this past week. He is a sure-fire first-round pick but could he drop all the way to Dallas at 24th overall?

It seems rather unlikely that Davis will be available for the Cowboys. But, they could always trade up to take one of the most athletic defensive tackles in recent history. Adding this big guy could have a huge, lasting impact on the Dallas defense.
