2. Takkarist McKinley, Cleveland Browns, Defensive End

Career Stats: 97 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 20 sacks, 2 passes defended, 3 forced fumbles

McKinley is a familiar free agent for the Cowboys and Dan Quinn. McKinley was drafted by Quinn during his time as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Last year, the team brought over guys like Damontae Kazee and Keanu Neal to stay with Quinn. Could they bring over another Quinn player again?

The biggest issue with McKinley is his injury history. However, depending on what Dallas decides to do with DeMarcus Lawrence and free agents Randy Gregory and Dorance Armstrong, McKinley could be a player at the top of the team’s list of free agent edge rushers. If the team ends up keeping two of those names, the Brown would provide nice depth for the Cowboys who have constantly dealt with injuries at the position the past few seasons. His experience in Quinn’s defense is also a plus as he would be able to immediately come in and make an impact.
