1. Rodger Saffold, Guard

Rodger Saffold has a whopping 12 years of league experience. He’s also miraculously a player who got better with age. The 33-year-old received his first Pro Bowl nomination in 2021. The guard was supposed to enter the final year of his four-year, $44 million deal with the Tennessee Titans in 2022. The cut is set to save Tennessee $10.4 million, a move that is likely needed after the team signed Harold Landry to a lucrative extension.

Saffold played in 15 games in 2021, and despite the fact that the team lost star RB Derrick Henry, Saffold was a huge part of the reason the Titans finished fifth in the league in rushing yards. The former Titan only missed three games from 2019 to 2021 starting 46 of the 49 games during his time with Tennessee. Durability and experience are something the Cowboys certainly need on the offensive line.

With Connor Williams highly likely to leave the team and new reports of La’el Collins on the trading block, the Cowboys need offensive line help badly. Saffold was considered a leader on the offense and is not ready to end his career.

Saffold rose to prominence in his first nine years in the league with the Rams. The offensive lineman has been in the league so long that he played in both St. Louis and Los Angeles for the franchise before moving on to Tennessee. Despite his increasing age, Saffold has continued to play with consistency and durability in the later years of his career.

There are several teams in this league who need solid offensive linemen, the Cowboys included. Saffold will be highly sought after, but the Dallas front office can hope that due to his age and the fact that he was cut, his price tag will lower a bit.

All three of these players can make a huge impact on Dallas. But will Jerry Jones and his team make these moves? Buckle up for the next few weeks.
