1. Trent McDuffie, Cornerback, Washington

If Dallas wants the best coverage corner in the draft that could very well be Trent McDuffie from Washington. McDuffie is known for simply blanketing receivers, and even with his small stature, he is very hard to shake in coverage.

McDuffie stands at only 5-11 and weighs 195lbs, which makes him not the prototypical Dan Quinn cornerback. Hopefully, the Cowboys will recognize his ability to play football and not worry about his size.

The soon-to-be-former Washington Husky is a great tackler and is extremely competitive. He never takes any plays off and has been seen flying across the field to make a tackle.

McDuffie is also a versatile corner being able to play both outside and inside the slot. I think he would immediately fill in as a starter on the Cowboys at either of those spots. He would fit perfectly into the Cowboys’ defense and hopefully, Dallas will overlook his small stature and consider taking McDuffie at No. 24.

These three cornerbacks should all be targets for the Cowboys in the first round. Who else do you think they should be interested in?
