Greg Dulcich, Tight End – UCLA

Career Stats: 77 receptions, 1,353 receiving yards, 17.6 yards per catch, 11 touchdowns

The Cowboys can grab another weapon for Prescott in the form of an athletic and quarterback-friendly tight end in Dulcich. Whether it be the constant injuries to Blake Jarwin or the possible departure of fan-favorite Dalton Schultz in free agency the Cowboys need another pass-catching threat at the tight end position and Dulcich gives them just that. He would bring some much-needed speed to the position as well.

Dulcich wouldn’t come in and start immediately due in part to his inconsistent blocking, so he will need to get stronger there before he’s able to make more of an impact on the field for the Cowboys. He could be used a lot in the red zone thanks to his route-running ability and size to create favorable situations for Prescott.

Nick Cross, Safety – Maryland

Career Stats: 134 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 10 passes defended, 3 forced fumbles, 5 interceptions

The Cowboys’ safeties did a nice job of negating deep balls compared to the last few seasons where those were a normal occurrence. The problem is Damontae Kazee, Malik Hooker, and Jayron Kearse are all becoming free agents. Dallas will need someone to pair with Donovan Wilson, which is where Cross can step in and immediately make contributions to the team.

Seen by many as a free safety with good range and speed, Cross has everything you want to see in an NFL safety.

He’s a smart and physical safety that will come up and affect the running game, but also has the range to play deep keeping his eyes on the quarterback in order to make a play on the football. Cross has the possibility of moving up in the draft based on how he tests and safety priority in this year’s draft class.
