Quay Walker, Linebacker – Georgia

Career Stats: 137 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 3 passes defended

Another question heading into the Cowboys offseason is what they decide to do with former first-round pick Leighton Vander Esch whose fifth-year option was declined. If there is a plan to move on from him and his history of injuries, then Walker would be a nice fit alongside Parsons.

Walker has the size you want in a linebacker with sideline to sideline speed that Vander Esch lacks. Dallas needs that if they intend to continue allowing Parsons to rush the passer.

Walker is stout against the run and has shown the ability to run with tight ends down the seam and catch running backs out of the flat negating large gains. Adding another speedy and smart linebacker to the middle of this defense would make them even tougher against the run, which is something the Cowboys need.
