Logan Hall, Defensive Line, Houston

CBS Sports’ mock draft is the first time I have seen the Cowboys selecting Logan Hall. He is a Senior Bowl participant, so many teams will get to see him a lot this week. That is also a great spot for him to show he is a first-round talent.

Hall stands at 6-6 and weighs 275lbs. His size helps him with his versatility. With the current uncertainty of Randy Gregory and Carlos Watkins’ contracts, the Cowboys will need to address the defensive line at some point. The pass rush was also one of the places the defense struggled this year.

Being able to play multiple spots gives Hall the advantage over other defensive linemen. He fits in well with any defense. According to Pro Football Focus, Hall was the highest-graded interior defensive lineman in the AAC last year with a grade of 89.2.

The Cowboys have a history of drafting players that attend the Senior Bowl, so it will be interesting to see how Hall improves his draft stock during this week and throughout the rest of the pre-draft process.
